Intuitive Design for a High-Stakes GameThe challenge was to take the classic "Last Man Standing" competition and transform it into a sleek, engaging, and trustworthy mobile application. We led the complete design process, focusing on making the user experience incredibly simple. From creating a league and paying the entry fee to the tense weekly ritual of making a pick, the entire user journey was mapped out to be intuitive and exciting.We created a clean, football-centric visual identity that builds excitement and clearly communicates game status at a glance. The design focuses on simplifying the strategic elements of the game—like tracking which teams you've already used and viewing opponents' picks—to keep players engaged week after week.
Full-Stack Development for a Real-Time PlatformWe engineered the entire application from the ground up, providing end-to-end development. The core of the project was building a robust back-end engine that automates the entire competition. This included integrating with a live sports data API to fetch Premier League fixtures and automatically process results moments after a match ends.The system securely manages user selections, enforces the "no repeat picks" rule, and handles all eliminations without manual intervention. We integrated a secure payment gateway to manage the pot, ensuring safe collection of entry fees and a reliable payout to the winner. The result is a seamless, scalable, and automated platform that can run numerous competitions flawlessly.
